The arch hit me to near my heal, sad because I like the shoe lightweight, sturdy and fun design

Love, Love, Love these shoes! I just ordered a second pair. I am a teacher and on my feet all day. These look cute enough to were with a casual dress or skirt and still look professional. The support is incredible! They really do relieve the pressure from your heels which is big plus for plantar factitious sufferers. The leather lining was so soft straight out of the box..no break in time needed!

They are very comfortable & stylish, with good arch support and a roomy toe box. The leather does mark up easily, but they still look good. I have them in Mahogany & Marine, which is muted blue-gray & more versatile than expected. I wear 8.5 or 9M depending on brand (usually 9 in Ecco), am on the slim side of M width, and 9/40 fits well with both light & medium socks.

I wanted to keep these shoes. I loved them. However the arch hit one foot in the wrong spot. I want to try another shoe in this brand. I was impressed with the quality and craftsmanship.

So far the ECCO shoes I've ordered have been very high quality. This is important since a lot of shoes you order online often look different than the same brand in a store. I've decided leather shoes like this are not very comfortable as the stiff leather of the tongue rubs against the top of my foot and the sides rub against my ankle area. Returning and not reordering but I will try other ECCO styles.

These were comfy and adjusted easily to my foot width. I need an orthotic in my shoes - I usually wear a 10 but purchased an 11 and fits well

Love these shoes. I wore them all day immediately out of the box without any discomfort. The look great with short jeans/pants and no show socks.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box! I wanted a shoe that had more support than a "tennis shoe" and not bulky like a running shoe to wear on our vacations. This shoe is a winner!

I had this shoe in another color and was so pleased I decided to get it in the marine. Normally I wear an orthotic, but the arch support is so terrific that orthotics are not needed. This shoe was perfectly comfortable from the moment I put it on...no break in whatsoever. Also love the extra support that a lace shoe provides.

At first I wasn't sure about this shoe's fit; it seemed a little tight in the toe box, a little loose in the heel. Because they were cute I decided to keep them and ultimately I am very glad I did! They have now formed to my feet and are extremely comfortable I walked many miles in them while traveling in Europe without complaint.

Very comfortable. First extended use was on a recent trip to San Francisco. Comfortable walking in them all all day long. Wouldn't call them grey exactly. More of a taupe.

Love this shoe! had to return, too short. I was optimistic that an 11.5 would fit.... bummer.

I purchased these for a painting trip to the south of France and am so glad I did! Europeans do an incredible amount of walking...parking is never convenient so you walk. These were great especially in the mountain towns with cobblestones, steep streets and uneven surfaces. Extremely supportive shoes that holds your foot without slippage. They are stylish, relatively lightweight and presentable without looking athletic. I am a diabetic and have bilateral knee replacements and I need good solid shoe that is comfortable and will protect my feet- this is it and pretty too! The leather is like butter and the shoe is very classy and 'rich' looking.. I paired these shoes with the drymax hyperthin running socks for June-July touring in the south of France (100 degree weather) and am very happy with both choices. Thanks Zapppos!

I had an Ecco shoe 20 years ago that was similar to this, and wanted something similar. This shoe has the look of a Converse All Star but with excellent arch support and sleeker styling. After reading reviews, I figured I’d give this one a try. This shoe is comfortable right out of the box, is lightweight and flexible but still sturdy. I got the warm grey/moon rock and liked it so much I found the same shoe directly at ECCO in red! Love these! Highly recommended!

I recently purchased the Ecco Chase II tie in warm gray. They have quickly become my favorite shoe. I love the color and they are very cute with jean capris and crops. I have a very narrow foot so I am seldom able to buy a medium width shoe. These shoes fit. There is a little room around the top of the shoe, but I do not walk out of them. They feel true to size -- I wear an 8 1/2 so I bought the 39 and it's perfect. I love the shoe so much that I ordered my husband a pair also. Hopefully he will love his as much as I do.

I'm right on the line between "wide" and "regular". These felt a little tight across the toes, otherwise they were perfect. I don't wear orthotics and the support was perfect.

Finally...A pair of shoes that feels as perfect after actual wearing as they did when I first put them on. Having so many problems with my feet (bunions, low arches, recurrent tendonitis, etc) I have so much difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable. Often, I buy a pair that seems great, and then I wear them to work for a week, or go for a long walk and regret that I bought them. These are simply perfect! I wore them to NYC on a 3-hour walking tour only 4 days after they were purchased. NO FOOT PAIN! I wear a size 6 1/2-7 and the 37 fit perfectly. Just the right amount of arch support - A nice amount of wiggle room in the toe box but also snug enough in the heel(mine is narrow). Wish they were dressy enough for work - I may get another pair. I love them!

I bought these shoes for a trip that involved a lot of walking and they performed beautifully without breaking in. The shoes are a great hybrid between comfort and style. The cushioning and arch support of this shoe is similar to those of ECCO's golf or heavy duty walking shoes, but they are much more stylish. I have high arches and still replaced the insoles with my own, but probably could have worn them with the original liners, which have more arch support than typical ECCO liners. Yes, they do look a little like bowling shoes, but they're cute with skinny jeans, leggings and other casual ankle-bearing pants. I bought them in the warm grey/moon rock color combination. The effect is somewhere between brown and grey, which makes them very versatile (especially for traveling), since they work well with a lot of different colors. SIzewise, the 38 fit my 7-7.5 size feet well. I'm very happy with my purchase!

WOW...these shoes rock. First let me say that other reviews are invaluable to my selection process. Like most, I was looking for a super comfy shoe that wasn't a gym shoe. I'm taking a trip to our Nations capital, which will put a walking shoe to the test. I toggled between these and the Ahnu Leather. Both were fab but the Chase was eventually the winner. They do have HIGH arches, the highest I've ever seen in a shoe (and I have custom orthotics). No need for my orthotics in this shoe. I wear a straight up 8 in every shoe, a 9 in gym and hiking. 39 fit me perfect, roomier in the toe area but snug in the heel. Lightweight and retro looking, which I like. I'm looking forward to testing these out on my upcoming vacation. Thanks Zappos for having such a vast variety for us to choose from.

I love this shoe. I wanted something more feminine than my normal sneaker. I'm going on vacation to the UK and I wanted something i could walk around in. I broke them in before the trip, by wearing them around. it's a great shoe, lots of arch support, and a nice color. Someone actually thought they were Gucci because they saw the "cc" from Ecco. I'm 5'10" 155lbs. I bought the 42 size, which is 11-11.5 and I'm glad i went with that size. For narrow, i have M, and they are narrow. I have skinny feet so it was fine. I'm excited to wear these on my trip!
