These shoes are amaizing. I spent ten days traveling in Europe in November. Warm enough, never cause feet sweating, great arch support, water proof, looking nice enough even for evening event. If you can take only one pair of shoes for your trip - that is perfect. In addition I spend twelve hours nursing shift wearing them. They make me quickly forget what I am wearing - silent, flexible, non-skidding, water ( and body fluids) proof - I would never wear fabric top shoes at my work. Some people say they look like bowling shoes - This comparison does not strike me at all - these are just well made comfortable shoes.

This ECCO Chase II Tie shoe is really nice looking and I was looking forward to wearing it. Ordered a size 39 and 40, thinking one would be the ideal fit. Unfortunately the 40 was huge and flopped, so I sent them back. Thought the size 39 would be right; however, after trying it on over several days at different times, (allowing for foot changes), it just felt too tight and short. Hated to do it, but had to send them back too. I normally wear a size 9 med., which would probably be a 39.5, which isn't often available in this type of shoe. Will try to find something similar.

I just got these and have only worn them around the house as a tryout, but I know that they're great. My usual size is 7.5 or 8. These are a 39 (8-8.5), so they might run a little small but not much. The arch support is very high, which is good for me but not for everyone. They are very stylish. Even my fashion plate daughter thinks they look good. As always, ordering with Zappos is a snap. I placed the order Weds night and received the shoes Friday afternoon!

I stand between 5-9 hours per day for my job. These shoes provide excellent support for my feet, back, and knees. I've always had lower back problems, and most recently have experienced knee issues, but with these shoes I have no aches and pains at the end of my shift. They are wonderful.

I bought these because my plantar fasciitis flared up. They have amazing arch support (that hard bump another reviewer complains about? It's a gift from the shoe gods). And they have a certain dork-chic that has gotten me compliments.

I finally found my new work/play shoe. To be in my 6th decade and have something feel this good to run around is pure heaven. I feel light on my feet and 20 something again. Fabulous arch support, the way dansko's used to be. Lightweight, wonderfully supportive, fit like a glove. I'm a 10.5 and the 41's are perfect. Ecco's aren't made for wider feet. I only wish they had more colors!

I really liked these shoes. The fit and support were both good. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 in Clarks shoes, and I ordered a 40 in these. I ultimately returned these in favor of the Ecco Soft II sneaker because these were a bit more casual looking.

I bought these in the brown color to wear with denim and khakis and I love them. Comfy straight out of the box and very nicely made. I have orthopedic issues and am 53 so I’m always on the lookout for a hybrid sneaker/casual shoe for when I’m not wearing athliesure. These shoes fit that bill and help me maintain my daily rhythm by protecting me from foot/leg fatigue while being stylish and fun. This is my first pair of ECCOS; I am most pleased by the quality and attention to detail relative to the construction of the inside of the shoe. They didn’t cut any corners with materials or stitching. I’d buy them again for sure.

These are very comfortable shoes with good arch support and well made. I have a knee problem (osteoarthritis) and these shoes make it much easier for walking. Definitely worth the money.

I bought these shoes in two sizes, 40 and 41, and returned the the 40. I usually wear a 91/2 but the 41 (10-101/2) worked best with socks. I wore them almost daily in Europe with lots of cobble stone roads and uneven pavements and they were wonderful. They were stylish, comfortable, and even water resistant! Thank you Zappos for making returns so easy!!!

Great shoe! The Warm Grey/ Moon Rock color is fantastic.I bought these for walking around New York City and they are comfortable right out of the box. The only issue is with sizing. I normally wear a 7.5 so purchased the size 38. They were way too big. However, Zappos is the best about returns/exchanges so was able to get the next size down without any hassle. They fit perfectly!

A really cute leather sneaker! I tried two sizes and couldn't accommodate my bunion but the styling is great and it will probably be loved by anyone with healthier feet.

I almost didn't buy these shoes because they are expensive on my small income but I am so glad I did. You can't put a price on finally being able to walk in comfort. I have a bunion and arthritis in one foot from all of the metatarsals being broken.The toe box is perfect and I can walk without hobbling. I know I will be wearing these everyday, thank goodness they are also so cute! this is my second pr of ECCO shoes and I won't buy any other brand now!

39 was too small; 40 is too big for me. Love the look and the materials seem high quality.

Add me to those that are quite happy with this shoe. I bought this specifically for a trip to Europe with a lot of walking after reinjuring a weak ankle. I can wear it with my ankle brace if need be. The shoe has good support for my high arches, good stability for my problem ankle, a narrower heel but wider toe box. And they pass as stylish. I wear a size 8 typically but in Ecco always a 38. I lace the ankle as those of us with narrow ankles have learned to do with a lace lock at the top (google it if you don't know, it helps a lot).

I wear leg and foot orthotics and have hard time finding stylish shoes to fit. I ordered on a whim. More than I would usually spend,but I liked the color-something different. I questioned whether theyd fit, and when I got them, they slid right in-after I unlaced a bit. Felt nice to have something stylish on feet as they looked good, but I also have to point out, I took out removable shoe insert to ensure my foot had enuf room within shoe and upon my disappointment, I could tell they were worn previously-heel and toe oil impressions of foot. I may have kept them had they not been worn, as I def would not purchase these shoes at this pricepoint preworn and I would not have known they were preworn, had I taken inserts out. Huge disappointment all around and missed sale Zappos :(

A very nice looking shoe, but I am 66 yoa and the shoe made me look like I was trying to hard to look hip. Great leather and they felt very comfy on my feet. Sadly, for me, a tad inappropriate.

nice shoe, but the soft 7 is even more comfortable, will be returning and conforms to my foot perfectly

Love, love, love these shoes! The first time I wore these I got compliments on them. That happened the second time - and the third time! They feel good, and they look great with jeans, khakis and other casual pants. I got them in Marine Blue....wish I'd purchased them sooner!

All shoes should have the arch support these offer. They are very comfortable. The toe box is just right...not too big ... not too narrow. Ecco has always been my go to shoe for times I need to do a lot of walking and a sneaker is too casual. I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 39 and they fit great!
